not meant for swimming but for sitting cute hair/make up done, on the side of a pool, at a boat party, walkable beach cities etc. acrylic yarn dries quickly in the sun & may feel heavy while drying.
I suggest sitting activities if you want to get in the water. I’ve swam in the ocean in my crochet bikinis and it’s been fine if I know I will have at least a hour to sit in the sun and dry off. It feels comfortable to walk around in, no lining yet stitched tighter where lining would be
